The Fourth International Symposium/Workshop on Frugivores and Seed Dispersal was held at Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia from July 9th to 16th, 2005

Dispersal of seeds by frugivorous (fruit-eating) animals is an important ecological process that has attracted increasing interest by researches and conservation managers over the past few decades. This Symposium brought together over 120 delegates from over 20 countries to discuss many aspects of this important and fascinating topic
